If you're looking for a less crowded, off-the-beaten-path waterfall in Bali, Leke Leke Waterfall is a perfect choice. Tucked away in the lush jungles of central Bali, this narrow, picturesque waterfall cascades down a moss-covered cliff into a small pool, creating an almost mystical, fairytale-like scene. Unlike some of Bali's more famous waterfalls, Leke Leke is quieter, more peaceful, and totally worth the trip. Why Visit Leke Leke Waterfall? Secluded Jungle Setting: The walk to the waterfall takes you through lush tropical rainforest, bamboo bridges, and scenic trails, making it feel like a hidden paradise. Less Crowded than Other Waterfalls: Unlike Tegenungan or Gitgit, which can be packed with tourists, Leke Leke is far more peaceful, especially in the morning. Perfect for Photos: The narrow, straight waterfall surrounded by vibrant green cliffs makes for stunning Instagram-worthy shots. Easy but Scenic Hike: It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the entrance, making it accessible for most visitors while still feeling like an adventure.

Tips for Visiting

  • Go Early for Fewer People: Arriving before 10 AM means you'll have the waterfall almost to yourself.

  • Wear Good Shoes: The trail can be muddy and slippery, especially after rain, so flip-flops aren't the best choice.

  • Bring Small Cash for Entry: There's a small entrance fee (usually around IDR 50,000 / ~$3 USD).

  • Take Your Time on the Trail: The short hike is part of the experience, with swing bridges and scenic jungle views along the way.

  • Not a Swimming Spot: The pool at the base is shallow, so this is more of a photo spot than a place to swim.
