Bali's Magical Hidden Cave Waterfall. If you're looking for a waterfall that feels straight out of a fairytale, Tukad Cepung Waterfall is a must-visit. Unlike Bali's open jungle waterfalls, this one is hidden inside a cave, where sunlight beams down through the rock openings, creating a mesmerizing, almost heavenly glow. It's one of Bali's most unique waterfalls, perfect for adventure seekers and photographers alike! Why Visit Tukad Cepung Waterfall? A Hidden Cave Waterfall: Unlike other waterfalls in Bali, Tukad Cepung is surrounded by high rock walls, making it feel like a secret jungle paradise.  Sunlight Rays Through the Cave: When the light hits just right (usually between 9 AM - 11 AM), it creates a stunning natural spotlight on the waterfall, making it one of the most photogenic spots in Bali. A Short but Scenic Walk: Getting to the waterfall requires a short trek through jungle trails, wading through shallow water, and climbing over rocks, adding a bit of adventure to your visit. Epic Photography Spot: Between the waterfall glow, moss-covered canyon walls, and tropical surroundings, it's a dream location for photographers.

Tips for Visiting

  • Best Time to Visit? Late Morning for Sunlight Rays: The magical sunbeams appear between 9 AM - 11 AM, but getting there early also helps you avoid crowds.

  • Be Ready for a Short Hike: It's about 15-20 minutes from the parking area, with some rocky and slippery sections, so good walking shoes or sandals are recommended.

  • Bring Water Shoes or Flip-Flops: You'll have to wade through ankle-deep water, and some areas can be slippery.

  • Entry Fee: Expect to pay around 20,000 to 25,000 IDR (~$1.50 USD) per person.

  • Avoid After Heavy Rain: The water flow can get strong, and the pathway can become muddy and difficult to navigate.

  • Pair It with Other Attractions: Since it's not far from Ubud, combine your visit with Tibumana Waterfall, Goa Rang Reng Waterfall, or the Penglipuran Traditional Village for a full day of adventure.
